The ground rules for using SnoutWalker.

This Agreement is between Bridgeshop Software Development Inc. ("SnoutWalker", "we", "us") and you ("Subscriber", "you") and is accepted electronically upon creating an account or clicking "I Agree" (the "Effective Date").
We provide a SaaS platform for dog walkers/pet sitters. Depending on your tier (Solo, Professional, or Pack Leader), you receive business tools, scheduling, GPS tracking, reporting, payments (via your Stripe/Square account), and directory listing. We are a technology provider only — you are an independent contractor. We do not employ you, supervise walks, or provide pet care.
Tiers and pricing are as listed on our pricing page (all amounts in CAD; prices for in-app purchases made through the Apple App Store may differ). Subscriptions are opt-in — we do not charge you automatically. SnoutWalker is free to use until you have completed and been paid for your first job (a walk or sit processed through SnoutWalker). Only then does a billing period begin: an introductory free period, after which your selected paid plan auto-renews monthly or annually until you cancel. You may cancel anytime via your dashboard (no refunds on annual plans after 30 days). We never take a commission on your walk or sit earnings. We may adjust prices with 30 days' notice.
SnoutWalker facilitates payments between pet owners and walkers through Stripe. A payment processing fee of 2.9% + $0.30 per transaction is applied to all bookings, charged to the walker from their payout. This fee is Stripe's standard processing rate passed through at cost. SnoutWalker does not add any markup to payment processing fees and earns no revenue from walk payment transactions. Walkers receive walk payments directly to their connected Stripe account, minus the Stripe processing fee. Subscription fees (Solo, Professional, Pack Leader) are separate from walk payment processing.
You are solely responsible for all pet-care services, pricing, scheduling, safety, insurance, and compliance with laws. You must maintain your own insurance and qualifications. We do not verify any badges/qualifications you display. You are an independent contractor — no employment relationship exists.
We grant you a limited, revocable licence to use the Services for your business. You may not reverse-engineer or resell access.
GPS tracking is optional and for informational purposes only during booked walks. You consent to sharing live GPS links with pet owners. Our Privacy Policy governs all data.
Reviews are from verified bookings only. We may remove reviews that violate our policies.
To the maximum extent permitted by law, we are not liable for any loss, injury, or damage arising from pet-care services (you are independent). We do not verify qualifications or conduct background checks — you are responsible for your own due diligence. Services are provided "as is". Our total liability is limited to the fees you paid in the prior 12 months.
We may suspend or terminate for breach. You may cancel your subscription anytime.
These Terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of the Province of British Columbia and the federal laws of Canada applicable therein, without regard to conflict of law principles. All disputes arising out of or in connection with these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts located in Vancouver, British Columbia, Canada. By using SnoutWalker, regardless of your location, you consent to this jurisdiction.
SnoutWalker is operated by Bridgeshop Software Development Inc., a company incorporated in British Columbia, Canada. If you access SnoutWalker from outside Canada, including from the United States, you do so on your own initiative and are responsible for compliance with local laws to the extent applicable. All subscription fees, payments, and transactions are processed by Stripe in accordance with its terms of service.
Your account creation or click-to-accept constitutes valid electronic acceptance under the Electronic Transactions Act (BC) and applicable electronic signature laws in your jurisdiction.
By providing your mobile number and consenting at sign-up, you agree to receive recurring automated SMS text messages from SnoutWalker for transactional purposes only: booking and dog-walk reminders and confirmations, safety alerts, and one-time two-factor authentication (2FA) verification codes. We do not send marketing or promotional text messages under this program.
Message frequency varies based on your walk schedule and account activity. Message and data rates may apply. You can cancel at any time by replying STOP to any message; you will receive a confirmation and no further messages. Reply HELP for help. Consent to receive text messages is obtained at registration and is used solely to deliver the messages described above. We do not share or sell your mobile number or SMS opt-in consent with third parties for their marketing purposes. Carriers are not liable for delayed or undelivered messages.
