I, the Pet Owner, understand and agree to the following:
Independent Contractor
The dog walker (or pet sitter) I am booking is an independent contractor, not an employee or agent of SnoutWalker or Bridgeshop Software Development Inc. SnoutWalker is a technology platform only and does not provide, supervise, or guarantee any pet-care services.
No Verification by SnoutWalker
SnoutWalker does not verify walker qualifications, insurance, background checks, or any badges displayed. I am solely responsible for my own due diligence.
GPS Tracking
GPS tracking (if used) is for informational purposes only and is not a safety guarantee. It may fail due to signal loss or technical issues.
Risk Acknowledgement
Pet-care services involve inherent risks, including injury, illness, escape, aggression, or property damage. I voluntarily assume all such risks.
Joint Waiver and Release of Liability
To the fullest extent permitted by law, I release and discharge the Walker and SnoutWalker / Bridgeshop Software Development Inc. (and their respective officers, directors, employees, agents, and affiliates) from any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, costs, or expenses (including veterinary bills or legal fees) arising from or related to the pet-care services.
This is a joint waiver of liability that expressly benefits both the Walker and SnoutWalker.
Indemnification
I agree to indemnify and hold harmless the Walker and SnoutWalker from any claims related to my pet's behaviour or my inaccurate information.
Payments and Disputes
All payments go directly to the Walker. SnoutWalker is not responsible for refunds or disputes between me and the Walker.
Electronic Acceptance
By clicking "I Accept and Agree" or completing the booking, I confirm that I have read, understood, and voluntarily agree to this waiver. This constitutes a valid electronic signature and binding agreement under applicable law.
